The higher seed has tremendous advantages. They only have to go 1-1 to advance (as long as their 1 win is against the lower seed who won) whereas both of the lower seeds can only advance by going 2-0. So, it doesn't really matter for wake that they play us tomorrow, as it is a "don't care"...

I was shocked at how few people appeard to be in the stands for the finale of the Pitt series. It was a Monday night, but it was embarrassing given the game was televised on ESPNU. The last game I attended in person at the RustyC was the UGA game. It was well attended and we got treated to SoS.

The caveat here is it looks like Dook, much like Pitt, is adept and gifting games as well. So, although lately I have not had much "hope" w/ respect to GT baseball, this gives me some hope. The fact that we have to hope the other team beats themselves says a lot about the state of the program!

Yep. I believe with our system, we have maximized our chances of being successful (however you define it) given our unique set of circumstances. The offense has never been the problem in my estimation. Has it had down years ..... yes. Can it be stopped when we face elite talent .... yes...
