    Cox Signed by Colts?

When I saw Cox and Colts, I was thinking Lucas. Interesting.

    2015 B-Back Inexperience

I went on record a few years ago (possibly on another board, I can't remember) as saying that I thought Days would be our best RB once he switched away from QB. It never really materialized until, as you say, problem met opportunity. That is the way some things happen in sports. It is just so...

    JJ Green jersey number

I think our guys recruit well, certainly enough to be marveled at, but don't underestimate the fun factor of this offense to players. Personally, I think it would be a blast to be an AB in this offense. If I was young enough, I would love to be out there dumping people on their heads. Think...

    2015 B-Back Inexperience

Running back is one of the easier positions to be a freshman playing. There have been a lot of frosh impact RBs over the years. In our offense, it might be a little more delicate, but not crazily so. The running portion of the BB position will probably see very little drop off. It is all the...

5 guys you will be watching close in Spring Practice?

Pretty much all has been said by others, but here are my top 5 "watch for" list: 1. The battle at RG between Shamire Devine and Gary Brown. I think the world of Shamire's potential, but I also hear so much about Brown that it intrigues me. 2. Perhaps even more important that number 1, the battle...

    If We Beat FSU

If the field were 60 yards long (from 20 to 20), it would have been real close. We CRUSHED them on the 100 yard field, however.

    OL Thread

Nothing we did made #50 look normal. He basically did whatever he wanted and out-quicked every guy we put in front of him. What happened was CPJ recognizing that he was cutting off the A gap by slanting in pretty much every snap. So, CPJ asked Braun to go ahead and push him in since he couldn't...

    Thumping my own chest!!

Thanks for the comments. I think you give me too much credit. But I agree in the sense that there are a lot of pretty knowledgeable football fans participating on this board. I gotta throw Cheese some credit. He directed me here after I got fed up with another sight a couple years ago. I never...

    Thumping my own chest!!

Looking across the league, we have more returning than most, this on the heels of an 11 win season. It especially bodes well when your QB is electric and gaining experience behind a very mature and effective OL. The question for me is, once again, the DL, though, I have to say, I am less worried...

    Athlon's ACC Spring Preview

VT G-C-G combo was the worst we faced in the ACC all season. Pillow fighters. If they don't fix that, it won't matter who is coming back.

How close did DJ come to dropping the INT vs uga?

What a memory. I was screaming at the TV because, at the time, I thought he had coughed it up and lost the ball in EZ to FSU for a game losing score. Then, all of a sudden, right in the middle of my hissy fit, he comes running out with the ball and all h&ll breaks loose.

    CTR

That is nice. It will be cool to establish some continuity on that side of the ball. It has been in such disarray for most of the CPJ tenure. I am happy. It feels like we are heading in the right direction.

    2014 vs 2009, offensive comparison

The numbers, when compared to 2009. We were a good offense then, but pretty much, a historically great offense last season. I had never looked at the stat comparison like that before against our last 11 win season.

    2014 vs 2009, offensive comparison

Pretty eye popping if you ask me.

    Darren Waller

DeAndre needs to focus on his knee this year. He didn't have surgery until December for crying out loud. He isn't going to be better than anybody, White, Jones or otherwise. He will go on to have a good career, albeit after a little later start. The last thing he needs to do is rush it.

Cannot believe how bad this offense looked in 2009

I just re-read my post and it sounded defensive. I wasn't worried about you refering to me at all. I was just chiming in on where I thought the thread was headed. No problem bro. I don't care who is the starter, post JT. I really don't have a favorite. I just hope there won't be a letdown. There...

Tech no. 41 of 65 Power 5 school

Another ranking. Yawn. Just win..................................... Now that I got that emotional response out of the way, it is hard for me to take that ranking seriously. We are 41 out of 65, yet we haven't had a losing conference season in forever and have the second longest bowl streak in...

Cannot believe how bad this offense looked in 2009

In no way shape or form am I writing off MJ. He is a freshman for crying out loud. What do people expect? He needs time just like JT did. All I can say is that he didn't look ready in a fall scrimmage, which represents the only direct observation I had of him. It doesn't mean much. I am sure he...
