I'd like to know why you think it's on PJ. Damn defense couldn't stop anything. The play call was perfect and took an outstanding individual effort by UT to stop it.
To me the likelihood of anyone winning a national championship at Tech isn't high enough to really even talk about. It has little to nothing to do with PJ. I'm not sure that Saban could even win one at Tech.
At this point I wouldn't count on Shamire. We may be OK, but all the optimism about returning starters will be thrown completely with pretty much a single injury on the line. It is what it is.
So once again we will have zero depth on the OL. Best of luck to him - would be nice to see some of the guys stay. Hopefully we have some OL recruits who are ready to play.

I disagree that MM wouldn't have started if he was a better blocker. He is a more explosive player. Had he fully bought in (blocking is about want to as much as anything) and not been hurt I think he would have been a clear step above. Is he as tough as DM, no, but his talent as a ball carrier...
