Personally, I like that we only have one retired number. It reminds us that the players are people who are more than just their performance on the football field. But... if they were going to retire another one, Calvin would be it.

I watched the Ball State / Arkansas St game last night and on one play the Ball State QB handed off to his fullback and then dove through the hole to be their lead blocker. You need a QB who is willing to do what is best for the play/team to succeed with this offense. How many times this season...

I don't think any team that played GT this year saw them as a cupcake. If anything, the earlier success ensures no team will overlook GT and fail to prepare for them.... apart from Syracuse.

The Hill is trying to get international students interested (link). Going to games while you are a student is something you have to make time for and plan in advance. You either buy a season ticket before classes start in the Fall or reserve a single ticket the Monday before the game on...

If you put any of these behind the OL in our tough games I don't expect they would have fared appreciably better. It's hard to make an impact as a QB when you have little time to throw the ball.

I was more like a 4.5 minute drill, but GT did a good job driving the ball 80 yards into the end zone just before the end of the first half against UNC. That was with only one timeout, IIRC.
