  1. Everybody wants to hold the baby. Nobody wants to go through labor.

Hey, dude...uncalled for. @ilovetheoption is a good dude who has been around a long time and supports GT second to UVa. Spare us your judgment. His post has validity. You may disagree with it,but no need to take shots at the poster.
  2. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

We’ll, those who can’t see the progress at GT obviously just don’t WANT to see it. Why, last year we lost to these guys 31-13. And this year… Oh wait. Never mind!
  3. Get out the Flea Spray; GT Traveling to the pound Friday Night Lights! GT@uGa

So nice to win against a P5 team in the 'preseason' and not saddle ourselves with embarrassment before ACC play even starts. A few comments, which do nothing to take away from the pleasure of winning! First time I have had a chance to watch this team play: this team has some shooters! Best...
  4. Attendance Down Significantly (AJC)

My own perception (not backed up by ANY data) is that ticket sales tend to respond to longer term trends than just one winning season. Have 5 or 6 winning seasons in a row with 2 or 3 of those being stellar, and fans will flock to your banner. Have one good year, and you will see a small uptick...
  5. Attendance Down Significantly (AJC)

Nope. Consumers have money to burn, as shown by retail sales.
  6. Get out the Flea Spray; GT Traveling to the pound Friday Night Lights! GT@uGa

Important game to win for post-season aspirations. A loss here would hurt at selection time.
  7. Coaching and AD carousel, Football Edition

I had heard he was one of LSU's primary targets...
  8. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

I believe to make a true comparison you need to look at points per drive (Or points per play), not points per game. We all understand that CPJ's TO offense was in part designed to shorten games and reduce the number of possessions by both teams. In that light, Collins' and Patenaude's offense...
  9. Checking on you guys

I would say 90% want to see changes in the staff now. Especially DC and some other defensive coaches.
  10. #Lamar@GT Monday night 7:30EST

    Just keep winning, baby!
  11. New Movies

Yeah, a B- or even a C+...somewhere in that range. Not terrible, but no where near some of the best Marvel movies...
  12. New Movies

I watched it as well. It was fascinating. Seemed to be fairly representative of its era, although I would wonder sometimes if the characters were a lot cleaner than they were in real life. Hygiene in those days was generally quite poor, and frequently poor folk thought one could catch all kinds...
  13. OC and DC replacement thoughts!!

I don't think we could afford them.
  14. OC and DC replacement thoughts!!

I don’t agree with this. CPJ was totally scheme and we always had excellent explosive plays until his last 2-3 years here.
  15. Tip Off Tomorrow Miami of Ohio

Pastner continues to underperform against early season non P-5 teams, and it continues to frustrate the hades out of me. You CANNOT be thought of as an excellent program with losses like this every season!
  16. GT & ACC WBB 2021-2022

Lots to look forward to in basketball this year. I’ll likely attend more women’s games than men’s.
  17. OC and DC replacement thoughts!!

I think Tashard Choice should get a shot at OC. His area has been the strength of the team, and he is an old school coach who i don't think cares for losing. I wonder if Marco Coleman is ready for DC? Our DE's have looked like the best part of our defense to me. Our LB's, not so much.
  18. Another win this season?

BC has their QB back. They will beat us.
  19. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Financially, we REALLY need for Collins to succeed. I just am not seeing the progression OR the attitude that I think is necessary to make it. Hope I'm wrong.
