This is correct. If you REALLY want to win at GT, you will have to find a way to mimic what the big boys are doing (because it works). Alabama, LSU, Georgia...all with huge funding, huge fan bases and absolutely no academic impediments to recruiting the best athletes. Only other way is to try...

I just want a football coach who can build a good staff (i.e., they actually coach guys up), make us competitive against the above average programs, and win more than our fair share. I could care less what scheme they run. And our fan base should have the same attitude. The whole scheme thing...

The really nice thing about college baseball is the competitive nature of the sport...os many college teams could in it all each year....not like that "other" sport....

I knew it was going to be difficult to replace Moses and Jose, but I believed too many of the pre-season posts on here. We don't look good. At all. No Dance. Disappointment. Let's hope Pastner can pull something together in the transfer portal for next year....

I can think of some other GT coaches who could learn a thing or two from Pastner.....
