    Matthew Jordan Practicing at AB

CC is just getting started. Let's give him some time. I agree he looks good, but college is a big jump at that position. If there is any good news in this whole situation, it is that we are looking out to 2017. That alone is awesome.

from Fan Sided "what UNC needs to do to beat GT" good article

Can't overlook anybody. I'm not laughing at them. I guarantee you, I will be nervous right before kickoff in that game.

At AB, you have to be able to turn east-west into north-south naturally with ease. It is not for everybody.

    Brad Stewart is an athlete

You can shake a tree and a jumper will fall out. What really matters is what one can do while he is off the ground. Not all jumpers know how to use their body correctly. You heard CPJ talk about Brad's ball skills being good. That is what we should listen to. Is it good that he can get off the...

Speed is a great multiplier. However, blocking, size, balance, cutting ability, vision, and good hands are all critical too. He will be able to handle the position and contribute.

    Nathan Cottrell

I hate to look at it this way, but, if a significant injury has to happen to the kid, now is the absolute best time for it. I really really hope surgery is not required. However, if it is, at least this way he has an entire year to rehab and get ready for next year in a normal kind of RS...

    Matthew Jordan Practicing at AB

MJ to AB sounds like a great idea to me. The game hasn't slowed down for him yet at QB. Get him on the field. I see no reason that he can't give us everything that a guy like Perkins did last year. He is physical and knows how to run with the ball. It is good to have some size there too.

    Fan Day Experience

Let me just say, first off, that the buzz and excitement surrounding this years event was triple that of last year. I went to get in the season ticket holders line at the same time as last year and had to go all the way up to Skiles to get at the back of the line. Last year it may have been 100...

    Nathan Cottrell

Knee injuries have been happening for the entire period of my fandom. I don't see how it has changed really. Playing surfaces have changed and that has helped, but.... It is still a dangerous sport. I'm not going to do any research on the matter, but I would say knee ligament injury rates have...

When did Jamal Golden ever injure an ACL? He had a shoulder a couple years ago I believe. Whatever, your point remains the same. I feel sorry for the kid suffering an injury of any kind. Hopefully it is minor.

    A Few Other Freshman Updates?

Fixed. Thx. Wow? Got a chuckle out of that one.

    A Few Other Freshman Updates?

If for no other reason than to balance the classes out a little bit, we will see more true frosh on the field this year. We had a large class, mostly due to attrition other than graduation, last year. I am sure CPJ doesn't want to HAVE to have a huge class every fourth year. Continuity is pretty...

    Pads Going on

Now that the acclimation phase is over (shells and shoulders only), we will get to find out who has made jumps from last year. Perhaps more importantly, we will see who of the Rookies is cut out to be a difference maker early. There are so many candidates that it is quite interesting. Who can...

    Fan Day 2015 Roll Call!

Last year there was a bit of a line beforehand. I would say show up when season ticket holders can go in and wait til 5. It fills up in there and the line for position groups can get long.

JT finally getting credit from National Media?!

Calling JeT's arm "marginal" is just an obvious indication that the guy doesn't watch us play. In no way shape or form is that true. I admit, he can't sling it like Jeff George, but there is enough arm strength there to be a good QB in pretty much any system. The writer just has no idea and...

What was your Muhammad Ali Moment?

Either pick six against Clemmons. Golden's was a film study special. He was all over that, and once it was intercepted, he was all alone and could jog down the field. Milton's was a terrible pass by the QB, but that burst of speed to the sideline on the return was something special. People talk...

    Roddy on the ACC race

Take notice fellow Swarmers, you are witnessing the beginning of an illustrious career for Roddy in this business. He may end up as big as the next Herbsrteet. He already sounds soooo much more polished than Pollack and Mr. "Third and California" Jesse Palmer on the ESPN prime crew right now. He...
