Yep. CPJ whupped CGC’s vaunted MSU defense in the 2014 Orange Bowl, and the fact that CGC was not there on the sidelines does not matter one bit. CGC built and coached that defense during all of that regular season before he left prior to the bowl game.

Well, ol Geoff Collins better win a lot, a lotta football games to back up his marketing acumen. We will see how it goes over the next five years.

I remember the NCAA changed the rules to prevent an on-field substitution like the one ‘Ol CPJ cooked up for that play against Clemson shown the video above. Seems like lots of coaches (Dabo included) hated getting outsmarted by CPJ, and whined about it enough to get the rules changed. Also...
