No. We just need the money right now, to keep from going into insurmountable future debt. I’m hoping it is for the short term, rather than as a permanent thing.
  3. GT to play at MB stadium

Well, we all cannot consistently fill up our own home stadium for every game, so that AD Stansbury has to look for money from other sources. Stansbury is doing his job from a strictly business perspective.

At this point, it’s still very early in the season. Next up: Georgia State this Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by Northwestern on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully the hitters will start getting in a groove over this week’s games. The pitching looks a bit better, but should improve some...
  6. Collins appreciation day (video)

I would be much more impressed with a Coach of the Year Award for him. We will see if it happens over the next several years.
  7. UCLA

  14. Anybody know what these are?

Great information! It corrects many of my initial assumptions. Thank you for posting it. However, I don’t think it can prevent any injuries like an ACL tear, bone fracture, dislocated shoulder, etc. while a player is non-fatigued.
  15. Anybody know what these are?

I’m not a medical expert, but from the description of the device and what it monitors, I don’t think it can prevent things like lower-body injuries, nor arm injuries, shoulder injuries, bone fractures, and other such things like those.

Wow! Seems to me this type of high tech may be useful in identifying players who are having medical issues with their overall physical condition. If so, it could play a big part in ensuring that no player has any such issues. If any player has issues, that player will be further evaluated by a...
  17. Coaching Staff Transition Question

I believe that while film study is helpful, it’s focused only on those players that played on the field in games last year. So film study is helpful to a degree. I believe most of the decisions will be made from old-fashioned eyeballing of what the coaches see during spring and fall practices.
