All of the quarterbacks we have on the team now had pretty good passing stats in high school before they came to Tech. So I don’t think there is a great need for a one-year transfer quarterback. Need to keep the morale of the whole team up by throwing (no pun intended) the competition wide open...

Great point. Certainly many high school football recruits think this way. And then they immediately think NFL after 4 (or 3) years.

Correction: UGA did not “lose” their OC to Tennessee. Tennessee made a counteroffer to Chaney, and UGA made the decision not to retain him with a better counteroffer to Tennessee’s counteroffer.
