Fast forward to 31:50 and watch the slow motion replay of that 3rd and 6 pass play....and listen to the commentators as they say "This is not a very good scheme. Having a 225 pound running back trying to block a 270 pound defensive end." There are some other...
If you think so, that's fine. But watching highlights from Vad's senior season in HS, they won a state championship on his arm and he looked pretty good throwing it.
Oh I agree. But I think he'll have to do like Doug Flutie and go to the CFL and light it up there. If he does that, someone will give him a shot in the NFL. I just don't think his skillset is suited for pro ball. But I would love to be wrong because the kid is a baller and an absolute...
I told you guys.....despite the love that we, as GT fans have for him, Robbie is small and didn't run a great 40 time. His measurables are not impressive.
He may get a tryout with a team but he will not make an NFL team's roster.
TCU was his dad's alma mater. When they offered, he flipped to them.
Now, I think he just wanted to be closer to home. I've been to Texas. Can't blame him for wanting to come back to GA.:)
Walkosky wasn't fired. He knew about some stuff Griffin had done and chose to leave because he had known about it and not said anything.
PLEASE people, do not start insinuating that DW or his wife/family were having fidelity problems because that is nowhere near the truth.
I'll play your silly game. We had 1 player drafted in 2012, none in 2013, and 3 in 2014. Let's get those to respectable numbers year over year before we start comparing ourselves to anyone.
That's a good point.
I saw another stat during the draft that 50% of players drafted in the 3rd round are not on the roster 3 years after they're drafted and the #'s go down from that round on. Kind of makes me wonder why so many teams want to "move down" in the draft and pick up more draft...
Neither he nor anyone else is willing to talk about this whole Griffin/Walk thing. The only thing he said was "uh uh...I'm not going anywhere near that". And FWIW, that's the first time he's ever been like that. Obviously there are things he won't tell me because I have no business knowing...
I agree with you mostly. I happen to be friends with one of the assistant coaches and he says that this group really does get along well together.
And, for the record, I wasn't defending Al Groh at all. It was two words in what he said that got me thinking though: "unprofessional" and...
