  1. Plug and Play Offense...

the ugliest isn't even over yet...
  2. Plug and Play Offense...

Wouldn't that make our athletes "elite"?
  3. Plug and Play Offense...

I think this is true with the exception of 2012. Laskey was a sophomore who was in his first year at BB and actually led the team in rushing. I can't remember but I don't think he lost any fumbles either.
  4. 3 PF = 3 losses to VT

IIRC, Joe false started at UNC last year on a 4th down play at the 1 that we scored a TD on but then had to settle for a FG on 4th and 6. Two games that we could have possibly won had it not been for these mental errors.

Laskey/Days was much better than what is back there today in terms of running/blocking. I'm not sure you can pin everything on the O line. It takes 11 guys doing what they are supposed to do to be successful. Most of the time that happened but when it didn't rarely did we take a loss when the...
  6. Freshman...

How was that statement critical of any player? I'd say your opening post is pretty critical of our seniors. You know the players that have spent 4 or 5 years in the program that you thankfully called mercifully over for them. If you would have stated "2015 season" I wouldn't have a problem...
  7. Has there ever been a season like this?

This offense is way below the Mendoza line this year.
  8. Freshman...

Why does our fan base think that if a player makes 1 play and mucks up 10 he is a stud?
  9. Plug and Play Offense...

I would have had Skov in on 2nd and 1 when we were up 14-0. We ran a pitch that lost 5 yards. We punted....they scored. Turning point in the game IMO.
  10. Plug and Play Offense...

Part of playing a skill position is your ability to block. I'm not sure any skill guys block it's just not a breakdown of the o line that is causing JT to run for his life back there.
  11. VT Postgame

lol...to say he breaks 1 or 2 if he has 16 carries is comical. You don't have any further clue to what he would have done than I do. I could say based on his average in tonight's game that he would have finished with 20 yards on 16 carries. Now that would be a true statement unlike the tales...
  12. VT Postgame

    1st and 10 at VT 45 (5:00 - 1st) Marcus Marshall run for no gain to the VTech 45 2nd and 10 at VT 45 (4:25 - 1st) Justin Thomas run for 12 yds to the VTech 33 for a 1ST down 1st and 10 at VT 33 (3:55 - 1st) Justin Thomas run for 4 yds to the VTech 29 2nd and 6 at VT 29 (3:20 - 1st) Isiah...
  13. Plug and Play Offense...

    who still thinks it is?
  14. VT Postgame

Allen is more of a BB than Marshall is right now. You think Marshall is going to rip off a TD every time he touches the ball? Not going to happen. Snoddy is a home run threat too. I don't want him on the field much either. Marshall is not a pile mover and goes down too easy. That's not to...
  15. VT Postgame

I thought the play call that hurt was when we were up 14-0 and had a second and one from around our 40. We run a pitch and lose 5 yards and wind up punting. Allen was gashing them on the dive! Pick up the first down and keep the offense in a rhythm. VT goes on to score after a bad punt gave...
  16. VT Postgame

There is not one playmaker on this offense this year. Yes, that includes JT. No one makes a play when this team needs it. Allen ran hard but the fumble and dropped pass on the wheel route overrides the running hard. Joe...no excuse for what he did....period. Snoddy looked like he was afraid to...
  17. VT Postgame

He's applying for a medical RS. he could be here next year.
  18. Did Bobinski say we would reject a 5-7 bowl bid?

Some fans need to check their egos at the front door. It's comical imo to say it's "embarrassing" to play in a bowl game. These guys play the game for themselves and their teammates....not the fan that has a image problem. Think of the seniors on the team that may never play another down of...
