They’re not gonna clean up their issues. At this point in the season, it’s who they are. They will continue to turn over the ball a lot. They will continue to not shoot the 3 well or enough. They will continue to have a crazy short bench.
At least we are playing better with our full roster...
The turnovers are the big killer IMO. In the vast majority of our games, the opponent is getting more shot attempts than we are and that is just magnifying all of the other offensive issues we have, such as not not being a great shooting team and the lack of shooting 3's. If you shaved 5-6...
I've come to believe that getting rid of the 3 point line would help the game of basketball. The game revolves too much around it and that's why the mid-range game has virtually disappeared. That's my simple solution to improving basketball.
Play better defense the last 10 minutes of the game.
Don't turn the ball over.
Don't go in to a shell, offensively, the last 4 minutes of the game.
These are things, mostly the last two, we've been prone to do all season and why we lose game like we did last night.
I appreciate the optimism and I'm even a little jealous of it but the proof is in the pudding. We are a mediocre team. We're 4-4 since getting our full roster. We turn the ball over at an alarming rate. We don't shoot the 3 ball well or enough. We don't shoot the ball well enough, overall...
It’s a fun to dream but this team ain’t making the Big Dance. It’s almost impossible to make a run when you can’t win on your home court. Better chance we don’t even make the NIT IMO.
This isn't a typical year in the ACC. The conference is down, so unless we beat some of the ranked teams on our schedule, we won't have many "quality" wins at all. At this point, the ACC will be doing good to get 6 teams in the Big Dance and right now we are the only team in the conference to...
I don't think he's the type of player (currently or in the future) that is really gonna move the needle for this program. For people pointing out Moses Wright, he's the extreme exception and not the rule. For every Moses Wright, there's 10 "under recruited" guys at P5 schools, who never become...
