Out shot by a ton from the FT line. Out shot by a ton from the 3 point line. Impossible to win like that. We still haven’t won 2 games in a row in 2 months (I don’t count Morehouse). I look forward to reading about how we are playing good basketball.

Tech scored the first 5 points in OT, within about the first minute of play, and then went scoreless the rest of the way. They barely could get a shot off, period. Sad.

I don't necessarily agree. Brey has only had 2 losing seasons at ND, while Hewitt had 5 losing seasons in his 11 seasons here. So even when Brey doesn't make the Big Dance, they still have a decent team/record. Hewitt's teams had some ugly seasons in the back half of his career here.

The FT line has been the difference in this game.

There seems to be this idea that when the schedule lightens up (starting now essentially), that this team is capable of "flipping a switch." This team hasn't won consecutive games since early December. Here's to hoping they flip the switch...

Pastner is undefeated if you count moral victories. Meanwhile, the only real record that everybody else looks at is 8-11 overall and 3-6 in the conference. They've lost 3 in a row and 4 out of their last 5. Two of those losses are to teams that wouldn't make the NCAAT if the selection was...

You gotta stop the moral victory angle. This UVA team is not the same team that won the Natty last year. They came in on a 3 game losing streak. This was suppose to be the year we “turn a corner” but here we are under .500 and headed to the bottom half of a down ACC.
