Yea, I don’t know what UNC is doing but it won’t be a good look for the ACC overall if one of our top 5 teams loses to a bottom half Big East team especially later in the season.

I know we joked about beating VT so bad that they aren’t a Q1 win anymore... but they did drop to 50. That’s a pretty crazy drop. Hopefully they don’t lay an egg the rest of the way. and fall out of the top 75.

I don’t think it’s possible to reschedule anything based on remaining time before the ACC tourney starts and our current games...Unless we want to squeeze in a few more 1 day turnaround games.

Clemson has a good chance to win out into the ACC tournament to make it to top 30. UNC schedule is a bit tougher with FSU and Duke rivalry game left, but feel like they could go 3-1 with only a loss to FSU and they’ll probably make top 30. Although jumping teams is harder near the top, I think...

Wonder if our large number of games on short rest give us a small advantage in terms of experience/preparation for the ACC tournament or if it’s negligible.

definitely rooting for UNC and clemson so we get 2 more Q1 wins. I also was thinking Kentucky was neutral bc it was the “Pitt Boss Grills Holiday Hoopsgiving” event. Unfortunate if it’s not bc they could also get top 50 if they finish strong. VT game Tuesday is extremely important.

Keep in mind that the way the Quadrants are assigned you're always more likely to have more Q1 games on the road. Its a quad 1 if its a home game vs top 30 NET and away game vs top 75 NET. We're actually a Quad 1 win if someone beats us in Atlanta since we're top 75.

Yea, luckily only clemson is away and 2 hours is nothing travel wise. I feel like we have to go all in to beat UVA and clemson as those are the highest quality opponents. Maybe push the bench minutes for pitt bc at 3-11 we don’t want to lose vs BC but a loss to pitt wouldn’t be devastating

I hope we can close out the season and make the tournament, but I will selfishly be upset if I can’t attend one of the tournament games as I assume that will be the case.

That sloppy first half came back to bite us. When Duke was messing up before their 10-0 run we didn’t take advantage and that killed us.
