There seems to be some difference between GT baseball games that are available on the ESPN app, and those that are ONLY available on ESPN+. I can pick up any of the games on the ESPN app with no problem (I use DirecTV Stream) but any game on ESPN+ is still blocked without a subscription. It...

I am hoping for the sweep but agree that the Friday night game is the one with the lowest win probability for us. But, hope springs eternal....

Actual attendance has (I'm sure) been much lower than what is reported. Reported figures are tickets sold, not butts in the seats.

Given that we have gone "iron man" by playing only 6 recently, my theory is that we get worn down in end game situations. Especially as the 40 minute role for these guys has only really come about in the last half dozen games or so.

I go back and forth on that issue. One argument is that if you keep bringing in new pitchers every inning, you're bound to find one who doesn't have good stuff that night who will get lit up...so stick with the guys as long as they look to be effective. Your argument is obviously what MLB does...

Well, Notre Dame and Pitt both lost their season opening series today (Pitt to Maine and ND to powerhouse Lipscomb) but the rest of the ACC held their own (kinda). Miami needed a two out two run HR in the bottom of the ninth to come from behind to nip Penn State 3-2. And Duke slipped in extras...
