Really wonder why they left Siegel in so long? He strikes me as a perfect “one time through the lineup” pitcher, and either he got tired or they could read his slow stuff better second time around. Sloppy 9th.

The power alley is definitely towards RF. Now, if you have extra time on your hands, could you compute how many HR's are hit at each parK? Coors Field isn't the smallest park in MLB, but altitude plays a large part in its being such a hitters' park.
Couldn't watch the 9th after they loaded the bases with no one out. Had to go back and watch it on ESPN app after I read that we held on to win. Seems a different vibe ot this year's team. I think we would have lost that game last year.
But...one game does not a season define. We'll see. Glad...
I haven’t had confidence in Dawson Brown since… well, ever. As a change of pace relief pitcher I think he could be effective. Without checking his stats my memory says he has always walked way too many to be great.
Makes me think we are lousy at evaluating talent in our recruiting. We have recruited a number of bigs who never have done of anything the last 3 years or so.
SWMBO and I ran into Trevor Lawrence at Krog Street Market not too long after the 2020 National Championship Game. We were wearing our LSU jerseys (born and raised down there) but he was nice as could be. Stopped and chatted with us, was there with his old HS buds from Cartersville.
