No, we are not talking about Supersizethatorder-mutt but this is an interesting article about the origins of George P. Burdell. It appears in the September 18, 2018 online edition. Hope you enjoy reading this history as much as I did...
Banks played in more games that Moore, 14 vs. 8. I agree that sitting out a season helps both him get acclimated to GT while providing a development opportunity that will pay off in his remaining seasons.
If you are on LinkedIn, you may have seen this article. This ranking is of top colleges for your money. One of the metrics is how well schools enable students to repay their loans. Interesting article in Time Magazine that can be found at:

I understand your point however I think of the 2018-2019 rosters (Men's BB Roster), 8-10 guys could get at least 5 minutes per game if we transitioned to a running game. I think it would definitely help with recruiting if this style of play was used. From a fan's perspective, it would be...
It's ironic that there is now a change to the substance abuse policy. Article from the 8/8 AJC:
https://www.ajc.com/sports/college/georgia-tech-adjusts-substance-abuse-policy-for-athletes/XfjvFGWn83Cd8ZmWLtw4mL/
Interesting takeaway from the article:
"Under the new policy, former Tech...
I'm sure at some point in time, many of us have been to "The Greasy V". A good article in the AJC about them celebrating their 90th year of operations.

I'm of the opinion that while creating a soccer program probably would not break even with respect to costs initially, it could be leveraged to generate additional interest in GT. When you consider the amount of club soccer teams/players in the metro ATL area, having a D1 program in in downtown...
Anyone concerned that overall, our OL is somewhat 'light in the pants'? I can see the advantage of a lighter, quicker OL between the 20's given our blocking schemes however in the red zone, you like having a little more 'beef' in the line.
I read this article in the AJC. I got a great sense of pride reading about the contributions made by these track student-athletes. Hope you will feel the same after reading...
In fairness, the coaches simply have to 'suck it up'. If the player has successfully satisfied academic requirements to graduate prior to his playing eligibility ending, why should the coach prohibit the student athlete from attending whatever school they wish to attend?
I don't profess to know the startup and continuing costs for soccer programs but this idea would definitely help to capture more local mindshare. Atlanta is one of the top youth soccer markets in the country. The ACC historically has had some of the top soccer teams in the nation. This...
My preference would be to hold the scholarship for the class of 2019. As others have mentioned, the fact that an little known 3 star got the opportunity to play right away and excel to a point of making himself eligible for the draft after 2 seasons will appeal to some recruits.
I'd like JO...
In fairness, I believe the softball game was scheduled before the spring game. Perhaps someone should have checked for conflicts before scheduling the spring game.

For those interested in hearing the interview for themselves, it is available on the 680 the Fan website under Buck and Kincaide, Coach Paul Johnson with BnK,

They replayed the interview. Other nuggets include:
-There is constant teaching, both film and on the field.
-Spring is a time where everyone gets to play. It's different in the fall when they break into the regulars and scout team.
-CNW has made good progress installing the defense thus...
