Sorry if this has already been posted but it is ALWAYS great to see a GT signee mentioned as a first teamer in the USA Today All USA team. This was in the April 11, 2018 edition.

I want to say that having a college degree is a requirement. I seem to recall several years ago before Fox was hired at UGA, Dominique Wilkens expressed interest in the position however could not apply because he didn't have his degree.
While this makes a lot of sense, I wonder if there is too much money involved for the powers that be to consider this. Also, if you did this for basketball, it would have to be done for every other sport. We know why that would have to be.

I must say that I agree with the premise of SVG's comments. Getting rid of the OAD is part of the solution though as many have said, that is...
I wondered about this statement and decided to research it. They are the first to vacate a title but several runner-ups had to vacate their appearance and wins, some over a period of years. Interesting read about vacated Final Four appearances at the following link...
Mario is the director of player personnel for the team and hopefully a role model for the walk-ons. He got a scholarship by playing inspiring and tough defense. If any of the walk-ons are willing to do this, they could probably get some playing time.
I wonder if any of the walk-on players have demonstrated enough in practice to get a few minutes here and there to give someone a blow? I'm sure CJP has made them aware that their number may get called if they are needed.
Peterson played at K-State while Pepper was coaching at Kansas. In fact, Pepper comes back once a year and sits with Peterson in his box.
If you can open this, see this, "What ever happened to Pepper Rogers' article where this is mentioned...
I believe many of us agree in principle that there would not be a groundswell of support for Price to become HC but GT has been known to get 'emotional' when hiring head coaches by bringing one of their own back home. Pepper Rogers and Bill Curry are two great cases of this.
I'd like to see us...
Glad to see you are coming around with respect to Pastner being our coach. I was concerned that his first season set some 'false expectations' with some fans regarding the state of the rebuild. I believe his plan is a sustainable model that should ensure our programs will be a perennial...
Could this be a combination of theses talented young ladies having lack of interest in the majors we offer along with some not meeting admission requirements?
