I become a Tech fan around 1977 or 1978. My father was a basketball coach and he shared an office with the football coach in the gym. As a kid I would go into his office and look at a GT football calendar. I remember asking him "why did Georgia used to be called Georgia Tech"? He explained to me...
And I have no clue why some football coaches can't see what is obvious to most arm chair coaches. The best example - Nick Saban let the best QB in college ride the bench until the 2nd half of the NC game. If Nick Saban can make bad decisions - that are so obviously wrong, so can Paul Johnson.
Many of us on this board have expressed our displeasure with the way the season is going, and many of us have doubts as to whether the current coaching staff can fix it. I would love nothing more than for CPJ and this team to catch lighting in a bottle and win 7 of the last 9 and finish it off...
I just believe it is time for our fan base to come together on the issue of Paul Johnson.
The Paul Johnson haters should give him credit for what he has done the previous 10 seasons. It has overall been a nice body of work and the 2014 season is literally a once in a generation season for GT...
He did sort of throw Qua under the bus. He said "You have to care enough to hold onto the ball". So Qua doesn't care enough? I know CPJ said that in the heat of the moment and he really didn't mean it that way, but it was a bad choice of words. If I am Qua, I would not be happy about that...
He had better hold the ball a little tighter during his returns. He will fumble if he doesn't clean that up. But I was very impressed with his athleticism.

Whether or not the block was legal shouldn't be the question. The question should be if the rules should be changed so that it is illegal. In my opinion it should be. Lineman dont need to dive at anyone's knees passed the line of scrimmage. It just looks bad.

Gold numbers look to be a different color than the rest of the uniform. It looks a little strange. Maybe it is just the picture.

The ugag fans around me have been no fun. Almost all of them admit that ugag lost the game and the officiating had very little to do with it. Although the uncle lou video did give me a good laugh!
Richard Sherman had a very high GPA in high school. He would have easily been accepted at GT and clearly has the brainpower to get a management degree.
I still blame that loss on you! You brought your pregnant wife (a Duke fan) to that game. We are 1 and 3 against them ever since. You need to repent of your sins!
Just kidding! I hope everything is going well with your family and that you are turning your child into a GT fan!

One more family pic. I have really been blessed with good kids and a patient wife that has put up with me for many years. And yes, my wife and I are the same age. No, we don't look like it.
Thanks Liberty!
She actually did tear her ACL her freshman year and had to have surgery. She put in a tremendous amount of rehab to be able to cheer her sophmore year.
You have to train them up right from the beginning! I have always dressed her in white and gold!
But I am most proud that she is going to get her degree. She has put in a lot of hard work, lost many hours of sleep, and has shed more than a few tears. But she we tell that it is all worth it...
I had a great time walking my daughter out on the field for Senior Day. The last four years have flown by and I have many special memories!
It is just unfortunate that I spent more time in the end zone than our players did :)
