The game at home against Georgia State on the following Tuesday, April 18, is still set to start at 8:00 pm. It also will be televised on the ACC Network. I hope I didn’t confuse anyone with my previous posts above about the game time for tonight’s game vs Auburn. The 7:00 pm start for...

My answer to the OP’s question: No.
  6. UNC, Baseball

I believe the team is actually slowly getting better. The kids are doing their best. I haven’t noticed any despair nor negativity in the dugout during the games, even when they’re getting beat by lopsided scores. Now halfway through the season, their attitudes are still good, and they remain...
  7. Georgia Southern, Baseball

First start for McGuire in a long while, so I’m expecting a lot of rust that he’ll have to try to work through. Hope he does well.

This appeared to be Compton’s second hamstring injury, since the first one that he had very early in the season. And it looked to be more painful than the first one. Hopefully with about a month of treatment and rest, he can get back into the lineup by the end of April, into the ACC Tournament...

Exciting nail-biter at the end! If we can win one more game in this series, I’ll be happy as a pig in slop.
  11. @Boston College, Baseball

Boston College is the surprise ACC baseball team so far this season. The Eagles have lots of good experience, with several graduate students and seniors playing important roles in their recent surge. In my view, and realistically speaking, I believe our Jackets would do well to win one out of...

  14. Georgia State, Baseball

Not “astounding” to me. Actually, baseball is a difficult sport for a bettor to bet on: https://www.gamblingsites.org/blog/6-sports-ranked-from-easiest-to-hardest-to-bet-on/
  15. Georgia State, Baseball

Well, it was extremely difficult for Georgia State to beat our team. It took them 14 innings! LOL
  16. New Pro Jackets Progress

For those who don’t know, Jonathan Hughes has overcome an unbelievable amount of adversity … yet he still remains singlemindedly determined to make it to the Major Leagues. Three years ago, Sports Illustrated published the following article about him … it’s an excellent read...

  18. Clemson, Baseball

Yeah, I understand that. But in games with a big lead, I believe it helps to throw your backup problem pitchers at least an inning in the 8th or 9th to give them a chance to try to improve their own pitching. Game experience is always valuable.
  19. Clemson, Baseball

I favor no “10-run rule” so that the backups (scrubs) can get a chance to play.
