I believe Key has more of a good, balanced offensive mind than what some of y’all are saying here. It’s what he learned as a player under his offensive coordinator Ralph Friedgen at Georgia Tech, and as an offensive line coach under George O’Leary at UCF and Nick Saban at Alabama.
I agree more with what RamblinRed pointed out, though. In January of 1991 (amost 32 years ago), the City of Atlanta threw a downtown parade for the Georgia Tech football team after they beat Nebraska in the Citrus Bowl and won the UPI Coaches Poll as National Champions. I went to the parade on...
He resigned about 3 weeks before Old Dominion’s season opener back in August;

I wonder what happened. Perhaps he needed to resign for personal reasons?
Key hires A.J. Artis as strength and conditioning coach. Link:

That’s interesting and informative. Thank you for posting it!
I recently finished my Google search for NILs related to Georgia Tech, and was able to find that there are a total of five of them, as follows:
- Swarm the ATL
- Icon Suite (GTAA)
- Jackets for Atlanthropy
- TiVo-GT NIL
- Jackets...
Sean makes an excellent point. None of us know the offensive coaches that Brent Key is interviewing.
It’s also possible that Weinke is being or has already been interviewed.
Coach Key is in charge now. It’s his team, and it will be his coaching staff.
Via Google, I ran into this article about yet another NIL for GT players. Here it is:

Continuing my Google search for Georgia Tech NILs, I came across yet another one — and this one actually comes from the GTAA website. It’s called Icon Suite. Link:

Ran another Google search and came across a third NIL for Georgia Tech football players:

Ran a Google search looking for more GT NILs, and came across this one:

Interesting. Here’s another link that just cropped up on Jake Thornton;

I really don’t know Georgia Tech’s current “academic requirements” for prospective football recruits. I haven’t read them on any kind of paper, officially or unofficially.
Can anyone provide it?
