Defense came to life last week and GT did run on the criminoles. ST played very well. All signs seem to point to a good time being had by all in white and gold this Halloween in the land of Mr. Jefferson.
@dressedcheeseside -- Tre is doing good and is "happy" at this point that he has worked his way onto the #1 kickoff and kickoff and return teams and that he has gotten to travel to Duke, Clemson and this week UVa. He just has to keep doing "work", as he says.
I will be at the Tech-tech game that Thurs night. Actually am bringing my first ex and TJ's grandmother up to watch the Jackets swarm over the hookies.
I will be in front of the TV tonight, alas. But looking for the D to step up and bottle lil Dalvin. I see a bad moon rising for the Semiholes!!! Go Jackets and #25!
To think that all things football at GaTech cease after the last Saturday in November (with the exception of recruiting for 2016) is unthinkable. The Yellow Jackets playing in a bowl game is just a way of life IMHO.
I do not know Beau but he has been a source of strength and encouragement to my grandson since he has been at GT. Beau has helped and guided him through some very rough times and I appreciate what he has done. Hope Beau continues the course he has chosen and gets that degree in May. I wish...
And for those Tech fans in south GA....BWW in Valdosta will be the site of some "Swarm South" watching Saturday afternoon as the Jackets send BvG a step closer to the axe! Take it from me personally, he is really a rude and obnoxious man.
I'm pulling for Smoooov to have a great day and I am also pullin for my grand's old EE roommate to go out there and show them why they originally signed you as a QB at GT.
Had hoped to be in the stand and part of the festivities but it will be another year of waiting...so I am on my couch here in SoGA as toe meets leather. Let's go D and GATA!
Richard is actually a GA State grad and he has written several books. One about our Sylvan High back-to-back state championship basketball team called "Ozzie's Boys" or something to that effect. He and I still stay in touch.
I remember as a young lad being at my uncle's office in the Peachtree Arcade (Atlanta's first indoor mall) and him sending me out to the street to get him a copy of the Journal's "bulldog" edition which has that day's closing stock prices.
Yes, Lewis became as much of a dawg as Larry Munson...
