My sincere apologies to anyone at BDS yesterday who may have suffered ear damage from the yells/screams of #25's mom when he made a stop. She just loves her boy.
I've made a reservation at the Camden Court Hotel near the City Centre for Thursday-Sunday nights. Now I have just got to figure out which flights I want...via Chicago, Philly or London. This is gonna be fun!
Tre'J's brother is certainly a "diamond in the rough". No stars and no offers as yet. He's an undersized RB (5'8' 180lbs) with a 415 squat, 4.1 3-cone shuttle, 33.9 vertical and 10 TDs this past season. Plus he has a 23 ACT and a 3.98 gpa.
The "prowler" was explained to me over the weekend. You push the machine by the upright handles about 20 yards through a door where you add two weights (one on each side) then go around to the other side, get low and push it back to the beginning by the low white handles on the other side...
I'm thinking it's about time most all those bad things which have happened for the past eight weeks FLIP and GT gets the breaks needed to win. I know one Jacket will be playing for a chip on his shoulder.
As an aside, it is hard for me to realize that 48 years ago I covered a GT-Miami game...
Heading up I-75 in about four hours so I can be at Yellow Jacket Alley when the team comes in. What a thrill tonight is going to be and I plan on having a happy ride back to south GA when it's over. Sting 'em!!
This week's CFP ratings mean nothing whatsoever. It just gives us a glimpse into what the committee is thinking right now. There is too much football yet to be played in November to see who the real top four (which should be eight) teams in the country are.
