I'm still a few hundred in "my own money" at this point, but I don't anticipate having it all paid for by the kindness of others. I have already purchased the equipment and outside of Microcenter giving me the wrong Motherboard (le sigh... should have checked the bag they handed me before I...
I live in Rhode Island and likely won’t be able to make any games this year. This is an acceptable bullet to bite to fix and make the computer last longer... especially considering that I can’t boot it and have a short window to replace it before I need to start processing videos.
I had a computer failure last night and need to pull together some cash to fix it so I can continue to post GT Football and Basketball games.
I am selling my season ticket in order to raise money to defer some of this cost.
I have a seat in section 225 about 10 rows from the front of the...
Apologies for the low volume. I’m working with a new cable provider in a new location. Blazing fast internet (uploaded 9+ GB in ~1 minute) but I can’t figure out how to disable 5.1 audio recording for the life of me... Fios is awesome, but confusing. I’ll reupload once I get it figured out.
Asked elsewhere... Does anyone know how to stream the Atlanta local CSS feed with the coaches show? I understand it can be done, but don't know how to.
My favorite games (All in person)
5) Nesbitt makes a hole in the Wake DL in OT to win. GT and Wake Navy Pilots loss their jobs...
4) 98 GT UVA - Joe Ham/Dez White Explode
3) 99 COFH... it was a fumble
2) Miracle on Techwood Drive - Wife is an AU grad that missed the kick six to come watch...
I am GT Bob. For posterity sake, the GT Alumni Association has archive level copies of everything that I have. I gave the videos to them with the intent that they should be shared, so if something happens to me, the GTAA has EVERYTHING as well.
I’d pay good money for tapes of some of these games. ‘89 COFH is one I’ve searched far and wide for. There’s an archive service that sells some of the older ones from the ‘50s and ‘60s. Might bite the bullet on those if I can get the rights to upload sonehow.
My first GT game was FSU @ GT in 1994 my freshman year. I’d just moved to town from Guam and had no idea football was as intense as it is in the south. Snuck into the band section and was with them pretty much the rest of my time at Tech.
My first non-Tech experience was some time in the late...
I can’t stand Kelly. Waiting for his head to explode on national TV. Almost literally got away with murder...
Generally I don’t like the program from our head to head recruiting battles, but will pull for them against U(sic)GA or others.
I’ll cap it and put it up once it goes out of the rotation on ESPN360. I’m unfortunately/fortunately moving to Rhode Island for a career opportunity, so I may not be able to do the coaches shows, but I should be able to get the games.
I think we are going to see deep open receivers the rest of the year, or we are going to be blowing up our remaining opponents with the run. Hopefully Taquon can take advantage.
