I read it backwards... In Miami, that's a different animal. That said, I don't think it's that big of an upset. They gave LSU all they could handle in the swamp, and thats one of the few teams that has lots more talent than Miami. I still wouldn't be surprised if it happens.
Bunch of stuff went their way. Would also add it was horribly officiated. Awful holding inside wasn’t called. That said, we were largely beaten by a fluke play. Any constellation of other single events occur, and we win...
Only thing I have to say about this interview is:
HEY!!! COME IN OR STAY OUT!!! SHUT THE D&MN DOOR!
I hope they can move past this quick. Their on the cusp of doing great things.
No... They have one of the best WR's in the country and a decent QB. They didn't beat Clemson with smoke and mirrors. I don't think Miami compares to Clemson on Defense either. Outside of the rain, we were running up and down the field pretty well on them. Especially considering that...
Respectfully disagree. We have a huge amount of depth and experience at pretty much all positions outside of the O line and linebacker. QB is the only one that we were lacking experience with at the beginning of the season. We caught lightning in a bottle with Taquon.
As far as the season...
Strict comparison:
Offense is slightly better than '14 due to the full playbook being open. The "peaks" at the skill potions may be better from '14, but the overall talent and depth of the squad as a whole is better on this team.
Defense is lots better - Our two losses are by 1 point... The...
That was the first thing that popped out at me when I saw that. On the road in the soul vacuum that is the Carrier Dome against a feisty well coached opponent. (Please oh please oh please...)
I love our coach, but his interviews can be painful to watch. I wish he looked like he enjoyed doing them... he just looks unhappy to be dealing with “these stupid reporters...”
Me likey the stranger.... seems that when we get a score ahead, teams get panicky and start to press. Falls into the lap of an opportunistic ball hawking defensive backfield. Excited for the Miami game
Yeah... with Walton being limited, if we can get pressure, the corners and safeties play the receivers well, we should do OK. FSU scored a bunch of points for a team with a freshman QB with limited game experience...
