    Our Offense

I think JT has looked great, considering. He hasn't taken huge risks with the ball or tried to force things that weren't there. IMHO he looks very mature out there.

    Our Offense

For the record, I am not trying to pick on JJ Green. I was just using him as an example. There is a ton of blame to go around right now and benching him will certainly not be a cure all. He might end up being really good for us. Right now, execution in general for this team is a real problem. I...

    Louisville at Clemson

I think L'ville scores some, but they won't be running wild all over the field. Clemson has speed and toughness. If their coaches get them ready scheme wise, you may be surprised how well they frustrate the Cards. I'm not sure FSU's defense is up to speed yet. Has Louisville played anybody yet...

Replay Study: GT Offense vs Clemson

I did it. I didn't want to do it, but I did it. I watched most of the offensive snaps out of morbid curiosity. I just couldn't stand the idea of not understanding the debacle better than I did leaving the stadium. I could make this a really long posting of great detail, but truthfully it would...

    Our Offense

The offense is not the problem. This is the same offense that rewrote the offensive efficiency record books a mere 16 games ago. Do you remember the orange bowl and the "they just can't stop it folks"? What has changed are the players running the offense. Are defenses evolving? Of course. Is our...

    GT win out?

You might want to re-read the last sentence of my first paragraph.

    Special Ed Conference

BTW, to add fuel to my argument, the SEC, despite their average resume, came into the week with the highest ranked 0-loss team, the second highest ranked 1-loss team, and the highest ranked 2-loss team. Give me a break! Let's see where things fall tonight when the new polls come out.

WHile I wouldn't argue against the findings of that article, we must recognize that Sagarin rankings don't mean much without more data. It is one of my favorite poll devices, but only after about 2/3 of the way through the schedule and on. I guess all polls are garbage before the first half is...

    GT win out?

At this point I think the defense is playing well enough for us to have a very good season. They have been challenged and done their job. We have given up under 60 points in 4 games, one of them being against a top 3 or so team on a night where we got 11 yards in a half of football on offense...

Tech grad Todd Stansbury to be named new AD

Tech grad Todd Stansbury to be named new AD

I knew Todd fairly well in school. He was there the same time as me. He is a funny guy with a very very colorful personality. I guess you have to have a sense of humor if you were recruited to TECH after playing Canadian football your whole life. This will not be a repeat of myBob. Looking...

    Clemson Postgame

I'll be watching the replay tonight. As always, it shows me stuff I didn't see during the game. A few comments: I am proud of us, as a board. I was hesitant to come on here, but this thread reflects a constructive and proper reaction to the butt whoopin we took. I haven't read any craziness I...

Will Clemson be more aggressive than BC and Vanderbilt?

Clemson will fire their corners a little more than some other teams. We will burn them with the pass to that soft area vacated by the CB and then they will cool their jets a little. They will probably crash safeties a lot too, trusting their CBs in 1 vs 1 on the boundary. A gap blitz? I dunno...

    ultimate disrespect

People get mad because we force them do defend their knees a little more than other opponents. It just prevents them from playing D the way they want to. That is the root of their anger, not that they have to get lucky to avoid injury. Defenders don't like having to bring their hands down.

    Clemson prediction.

Sooooo, all we have to do is win the TO battle 4-0 and this thing goes to OT. So let it be written, so let it be done.

    Klimpsun - Welcome back

If we let them get in a rhythm on offense it will be a long night. Give me the long slow drives on offense for this one. These guys are used to being on the field a hundred drives a game (no 87, not literally). It makes a difference when you screw with their natural timing.

    ultimate disrespect

I wouldn't bet my mortgage or kids college on the outcome of ANY college football game, let alone this one. Is there a single sport on earth less predictable?

Will Clemson be more aggressive than BC and Vanderbilt?

I am of the opinion right now that if just execute we will be able to move the ball on anybody. BC has every bit of the defense that we can expect from any team on the schedule including the tigers. We didn't execute very well against them but we showed that we won't be stymied either. On...
