    You are forgetting Tulane, Pitt (private but much like us), perhaps the service academies, Northwestern, and Boston College. When you say "NERD CONFERENCE" I take that to mean the schools that are academically oriented, many of them private, and without the huge resources in money and...

    Well, not really. I thought UNC in particular, would be better but this is pretty much the norm with the Coastal. Mediocrity is the ceiling for a lot of these teams. IIWII

    Interesting question. Under the current restraints academic, financial, support from the administration, etc. I don't think Saban could win a national championship. Win the ACC? He would get it done in less than 5 years with no problem. Win the Coastal? One year. Beat UGA? Maybe 3...

    It may have been the "right call" but the competition is about to get really stiff, IF (and that is yet to be seen) Florida and Miami get involved in the new coach sweepstakes. Virginia Tech may come to rue their decision but we will see.

    Well, UNC has been a disappointment and perhaps, Virginia Tech too. We are playing Ole Miss, FSU, and UCF? Gee, someone in that athletic department just does not like Geoff. This year would have been a good time to play FSU...next year not so much.

    You mean NIU penciled in as a loss? I sure didn't but then I did not think we would beat UNC but that is just the sort of thing Coach Collins has done every year. Win one no one thinks he can win like Miami in 2020 or UNC this year.
