    Me too.
  2. Louisville Postgame

Guess you are right but its hard to scheme around an offensive line that allows 180lb running backs to get stuffed three plays in a row.
  3. Louisville Postgame

Maybe 6 but only because NC State, UNC, and Duke look about as bad or worse than we do in typical ACC style.
  4. Louisville Postgame

If only it was that simple. This team's problems go much deeper.
  5. Louisville Postgame

Your loyalty is admirable. My preseason prediction was winning 6 games. I think it is very possible we could win only 5. We simply do not look like a good football team right now.
  6. Louisville Postgame

"A bad game"? So far we have played two teams that are not dysfunctional and lost both of them. This team is maybe a top 50 team but I doubt it. We will be fortunate to win 6 games and go to some lousy bowl game in early December, if we are lucky.

The running back not the quarterback.

Live with mercenaries...die by mercenaries. They are not loyal, not team first, not anything but getting the money and using it to showcase their "talents" for the NFL.
  9. Game 5 #GTvsLOU Predictions

Your optimism and reasoning do you credit. Do I believe it? Nope.
  10. Game 5 #GTvsLOU Predictions

It is THE reason for about 80% of college games now. Nothing else is as important. Pressure on the other team's quarterback will win games. Not keeping opponents out of your backfield will lose games. It is as simple as that.
  11. On To Louisville

Rush the passer and we can win...don't rush the passer we will lose. From my less than expert perspective, I don't think we have even an average defense. The offense can move the ball and has quick strike capability but the running game has largely disappeared. Disappointed in both lines. I...
  12. Game 5 #GTvsLOU Predictions

Louisville to win and cover. Pressure on the quarterback will be the deciding factor. They will get it and we will not.
  13. On To Louisville

I was trying to be magnanimous but point well taken. Duke has been a thorn in our side for about a half century. When they are bad, like really bad, we can usually coast but they always seem to give us fits. IIWII
  14. On To Louisville

With the exception of Duke, four of those five teams are capable of beating Tech.
  15. TN to add 'talent fee' to all tickets

Our sense of what is right is being shown by some of us in our thoughts and feelings about things like this. FIFY
  16. TN to add 'talent fee' to all tickets

I have just about lost all interest in college football. NIL in all its "glory" is really too much. I wish there was an alternate conference or conferences for those schools that would want to opt out of the NIL insanity and just offer room, board, tuition, books and a small stipend for...

Agree with a lot of what you say about the lines, still a concern as you pointed out. Disagree about the kicking game...to me its the least of our worries.

Gee, I guess GSU was not impressed by that SEC speed and what not. Still surprising that Vanderbilt lost that game.

Tommy were you playing the last time we played VMI? Circa 1974 or 75? Probably after your time on the Flats. It was when we were running the wishbone. They were more competitive that game as I dimly recall from my perch in the north stands.

You might call it a "professional courtesy" from coach to coach. Does anyone know how many players got in the game?
