"Cool story bro" moment. Way back when PHew was getting started, he was recruiting a troubled young big who'd just lost a chance to go to KY. The young man's prep school coach advocated for his guy to get a 2nd chance so PHew vouched to get the young man to GT. The player ultimately "behavior"-ed his way to wasting his talent after never getting to GT.

That young man was Michael Southall. That prep school coach was ... Kevin Keatts.

What's it all mean? Nothing, just thought it was a funny side story. I need to go to bed.

Southall ended up leading UL-Lafayette to the tournament as an upper classman.
