So apparently parking is sold out on campus? Anyone know of any place convenient to park, or a parking alternative?

Staying at The Hotel Felix in River North on West Huron. We are flying into O'Hare, does anyone know if the Red Line rail takes you into River North? if so would that be east/west ? Need info.We have tickets for a charter leaving from the Racine Bar & Grill on Sat. a.m. Are any other swarmers going to be on that charter?
Wife and I will be on the Racine Bus Charter... Can't wait!

My brother has gone to a couple USC-ND games in South Bend, and he's planning on us being able to park for free (it's apparently worked for him before). He says if you get into town a few hours ahead of time, there is free parking available around...you just won't be in the tailgating lots. I'll see if I can get some more details on where this alleged free parking is and share with y'all.

If enough of us show up in these free lots they'll become the tailgating lots.

We are staying in Michigan city - same place as team. Couldn't find a place so one of the gtaa told us about this quiet place - it's a casino. What a great school - play at catholic school but stay in a casino. During the game play fight song over and over that has cussing, sexism, and drinking.

Bride and I Will drive down early - need to park close to stadium and save steps for campus tour - any ideas appreciated?

Hope to put some faces to names. I will be wearing foam the good luck gt FOAM football helmet I bought at clemson game last year.
Our pastor wants a text' picture of me, the hat and touchdown Jesus. All the sec types here in NW fla are really pulling for gt over nd.

Why do you say that? I think the white lot will be available. They probably cannot mail the tickets in time for pre purchase.

Good point. I went to the school's website to buy a pass the other day and there wasn't an option to buy one.

I plan on getting into town around 1pm and check out the area. From the other posts, sounds like plenty of parking by the time I get there.

Allegedly free parking is available in the residential neighborhoods around the stadium (he's used the area SW of the stadium, says it's a 10-15 min walk to stadium). Get there early and you should have no problem, but no tailgating on the side streets.

Yes, we parked there in'97......there is nothing on that side of campus..,we ended up walking to downtown to find a bar.....and that was slim pickings as well

Just told my Boss I'm walking out on Friday at noon and heading straight to the airport. No calls, no emails, no nothing until Sunday when I'm flying home. I got my tickets, my transportation, & a pocket full of money. 40 hrs and counting to a weekend dedicated to GT football. I've been waiting for this trip so long. This is the kind of football game GT is meant to play in- not Alcorn ST, not Wake, not Syracuse and I can't wait to get there.

I want to see us get out there at hit somebody. Every play on offense every defender needs to get a shot until they're begging to ride the pine or so worn out they're running out of the way. Our O Line needs to be 10+ yds downfield laying the wood so ND's entire D knows they're a target regardless how far away from the LOS they are. Give me some Skov up the middle to loosen them up and when they're tired of getting pounded shift to Thomas & Marshall and make them chase them until they're gassed or hand it to any one of our seemingly bottomless pit of ABs to streak down the sidelines. When Summers & company have beaten down their DB's, Thomas needs to chuck a few deep to make them pay. I also want to see the AB's and WR's deliver some Smelter type blocks on the edge so the ND replacements think twice about what's coming at them.

The D just needs to play the game they're capable of. Stop them half the time & I like our chances.

Take no prisoners. Jackets needs to come to play on Saturday. Time to separate the men from the boys.

I just bought a rain suit from Walmart for $10. Ponchos leave your lower half wet, rain suits cover everything and keep water out of your rain shoes.

I am blowing off Friday (it is great working for yourself.....sometimes) to prep food, pack the van etc. Looking forward to a day of tailgating, a few cocktails with other swarm posters, and a Jackets victory. The tent canopy hopefully will kept me dry til the rain blows through.
