Same game ,but when we recovered the fumble late that sealed it, is the loudest I've experienced since first going in '65. Swilling was covering his helmet ear holes because it was painfully loud. That was 1985

Wut? Nah I was there
You guys are right, of course. I had forgotten that the game was at Bobby Dodd. Most of the games I've attended between Tech and Ugag have been in Athens, and I guess I had a senior moment and got confused...Nope
I was in the band, and Chords (third down thing) was one of my favorite parts of gamedays. Now it's apparently been scrapped in favor of a 15 second clip of a rap song and the announcer transporting us to a Harlem Globetrotters game.I miss the band's third down music
Some of these games are hard to forget, not only because of the win, but because of the atmosphere. I'll offer an initial top 3. Watching these highlights gave me chills all over again.
- 2009 vs. Virginia Tech - "All the way turnt up!". My 2 cents... this was the loudest game from end the end that I can remember.
- 2016 vs. Florida State - "Kick 6". One of the loudest, most exhilarating single moments during my tenure as a GT fan.
- 2006 vs. Maryland - Michael Johnson
savessacks the day. Sweet relief, kind of like Cooper Taylor's forced fumble vs. FSU which is an honorable mention for me. This one was nuts for a few game-saving downs.
What else you got?
1998 UVa ...Wes' best call EVER...Oh Charlie!!!1990 vs Clemson & uga, 1998 vs UVA (Homecoming). Tiki Barber & Crew vs JoeHam & Dez White, et al
