Happy with the win. My main take aways …

1) we won
2) we have specific things to work on with a FULL week of practice ahead
3) some people won’t be happy unless we win(or lose) THEIR way and how THEY think the game should be played.

A lot to get straightened out before Ole Miss comes to town. Sims not sharp, Oline still a work in progress. Defense improved after Charlie returned in the 2nd half.

No way anyone came away from this game without a realization that a division 2 school extremely competively against us and beat us in several statistical categories. If it were a 2nd tier SEC school, Mizzou or other, maybe that would be fine, but it is not.
It made me think that Kerwin Bell might be worth an interview when we can Collins in December.

A win is a win is a m'fn win. A lot to clean up but we will see how this staff responds and gets these guys ready for Ole Miss. I can clearly see the talent on our side of the field but there are still plenty of questions about whether these coaches can get the players to consistently play up to their talent level. I'm always optimistic so I believe they will
