VT Game Predictions

My prediction? The Virginia Agricultural & Mechanical School shows up Thursday night for our 1990 season celebration, wearing some gawd-awful flashy "hype" uniforms like they did two years ago, for our BDS 100th anniversary celebration.

It always ticks me off the way they come into our stadium as the visiting team, thinking and acting as if it's "all about them". They are second only to the Cesspool, in that regard.

VPISU fans make UVa fans look very classy and attractive. Depends on your point of reference I guess.

To me, this game is much less about an average to below average VT team than what we are likely to do. I just don't know which GT will show up; the FSU GT or UVa GT. Unfortunately, I have a conference call at 0830 Friday so I can't expunge the memory with alcohol if necessary.

Conventional wisdom says this will be a low scoring game. One solid defense going against a good offense misfiring on 3 of 8 cylinders, with one putrid offense going against a thinned out defense. So, while everybody is expecting a sub 24 point performance on both sides, I am going with.............

Wife's first ga tech game in BDS we win against #4 vt. Still remember the YELLOW!!. JACKETS!! & the band refused to stop playing as the students ripped down the goal posts then ripped it in half!!.
Why not! We will be there for sure. . Jackets overwhelm the vt hokies with passionate and aggresive play. 31-14. We roll!

Hey! Don't you talk bad about Michigan! I live in this hell hole. Lol. Detroit isn't that bad. The game is inside and Ford Field is actually a great place to watch a game. Especially if it's a 5-7 ACC team playing a 6-6 Big 10 team. Hell you can stand on the field if you want.

I am sorely afraid that, given our defense -- and please, may we give it to somebody? -- and two freshman tackles against a very aggressive and intelligent defense that has practiced off and on for a year against the spread option -- it is not going to be a good GT night. Another loss tacked on to the dreary road to 2016. I hope to be wrong.
