Are you sure about that? I was told if he drops down a division for 1 year, then he could indeed transfer back to a D1 school and play the next year.

Yes, I recently (2 years ago) had someone close to me who applied for and was denied by the NCAA to move up without sitting out.

If he goes to JMU and lights it up for 2 years he will get his shot at the league, I mean that's what he was wanting anyway, right?
