A big difference appears to be in points allowed by the defense. So far only 2 people this year predict 20 points or more for Tulane (an average of about 11 points) whereas it appeared, from a quick review, that last year's average prediction appears to be in the mid 20's. Tulane was more of an unknown last year and our defense should be improved so our optimism has justification.
