Not the type of kid we need to be involved with. Doubt you even see our name mentioned here.

I agree that you won't see him here and sorry this wasn't GT related. But it amazed me how he ended up at Oregon to only transfer out. Plus the schools he committed to.

Jernard Jarreau to transfer out of Washington http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/04/28/jernard-jarreau-to-transfer-out-of-washington

He is from the New Orleans area but has had some injury problems. Another one probably not for us.

Back to Tyler Harris, I was just reading this comment from his father:

"The main thing is we're looking to a school that can make it to the Tournament and make a big run and win the tournament," Harris' father, Terrell, told The Advertiser. "Tyler feels that if they have if they have all the pieces there, he can be that impact player that can take them over the hump and lead them to the tournament."

Auburn is re-building and will probably not be in a position to make the tournament. They were 15-20 last season. They have many players coming in which includes a Juco PF and top ranked HS PF and SF. Iowa St. is loaded and already preseason ranked in the top 5, but they have a lot of big men, meaning not as much playing time as Harris may want, as well as not being able to get any PT at SF.

With Harris, GT could make the tourney, but not sure what kind of a run we would make. Certainly not to the finish.

Still holding out hope for getting him.

Another big man grad transfer. Chris Olivier 6'8, 245 from Eastern Ill. 13 ppg, 5.3 rpg. Don't know why there would be mutual interest other than he is from Chicago, So i'll post for that reason (I don't expect to see GT associated).

Ken Sugiura at the ajc..."Coach Brian Gregory has another spot available as guard Chris Bolden, who was suspended for the final six games of the season for violating the school’s student-athlete conduct code, will not return for his senior season."

Pursing Florida's Eli Carter.

Don't know why but I have a feeling we land him. That could really make this an interesting team next season.

And the list of players that CBG brought in that don't stay continues to grow.

BBC, Bolden, Solo, Stacey

4 others he didn't recruit booted or transferred.
Golden Cox and now Smith will be here only one year

Difficult to build/sustain anything running a program like this.

Why do we need another 21% 3 point shooter? This guy made 30 out of 141 3-pointers. I don't get it. I surely hope CBG is looking at someone else to fill our last spot.

If Eli Carter's the best option we have, I want him. 81% FT is good. But he does look a little worse than Bolden in almost every other statistic. It would be a decent pickup but maybe not an upgrade.

Disappointed about Bolden. Seemed like too smart of a kid to be continually getting in trouble.

Big + 1 on Bolden. Disappointing news for sure.

He never had a reputation as a kid that would get into trouble. At least not what from what I have heard.

People can hate on BG all day long, but the problems that Chris are dealing with were 100% self inflicted.

All could have easily been avoided.
