Wonder if he's any relation to Maurice Ezzard who played hoops at Tech in the 80s/90s?

Ezzard is a WR from Stockbridge GA.
Add this guy to this list as well.

Could be. I looked it up and sorry to say Big Mo died in 2006 at the age of 37. According to the obituary, he was working for Nestle in McDonough at the time, very near Stockbridge.

I would like Georgia Tech to land Duke wide receiver Keyston Fuller or South Carolina cornerback Nick Harvey

Put enough of these and Jamious Griffins together and one would hope we finally start breaking through...

The Josh Jackson QB from Virginia Tech is now in the transfer portal. While we torched their defense, the Jackson kid can sling it and is also mobile

If a player is “in the portal,” are they free to go anywhere and play immediately?

No, they would have to get a waiver (Unless they are a Grad transfer).

It just means the player can talk to coaches from other schools freely. If they ultimately decide to transfer normal transfer rules apply.

Yeah it's pretty much just a web database of any player who wants to transfer that coaches and other interested parties can log into and get a list of who's available. That way coaches around the country can reach out and try to pry them away. I'm also pretty sure just entering your name in the portal doesn't necessarily mean you've pulled out of the school (ie you can change your mind and stay on your current team), so some of these guys might end up not moving.

No known GT connection, but I thought this was worth posting. A true frosh WR who just enrolled at USCw has entered the transfer portal due to Kingsbury's departure. He's been at USCw for 3 weeks.
