When can we send an offer? I don't know the rules now.

Rules? Rules?! You think there are rules?

Most everyone has held a job where you were a bad fit - manager changes, required skill changes, company priorities change, etc. A top performer can (and will) change companies when their current situation isn’t working. I’m not sure why anyone would think performance (real or perceived) can’t change with a change of job.

I feel like we really need to address LB. I don't have an eye for picking this up during games, but it seems like Tatum and Efford are used heavily and other guys haven't been getting as many reps. I also see a lot of youth on the depth chart.

Luckily Efford sticks around next year, but I feel like we could use a starter or at least some depth at this position.

On defense we got quality & depth at CB/Safety and we got youth at LB but definitely could use someone with experience as a solid back-up. The defensive line takes the big hit with a lot of Seniors who were mixed in thru this Season. We have a lot of young talent coming in there but we probably need at least a starter quality transfer and another good rotational guy to come in and contribute.

Tahj Butler has done a good job during his snaps, and EJ Lightsly has played some too. One of them should fill the other spot
I’ve been disappointed in Lightsey this year, really thought he’d stand out and push for more playing time. Hopefully another year under his belt will be what he needs.

I think he got injured again during the year or he was still not at full speed for much of the year. If he stays healthy, next year he’ll be much better. Getting back to 100% from his injury takes a long tome
