Well, okay I guess. Though as I remember Johnson got more out of them in a new scheme that Gailey was able to get, and he recruited them for his stuff. And if you are gonna go there, please mention four straight bowl defeats with them, and an Orange Bowl blowout to Iowa which did a lot more to show the difference in Big 10 Players and ACC players than anything else. They were huge and they were fast. So let's just stop the "whattabout" so popular in Washington and on talk shows, and see what Collins does. He has a core of solid players back, but unless he can recruit about 30 guys in the next month or sign junior college xfers -- I wonder if he and Stansbury had that talk? -- he will either get mauled if he insists on sticking with his formula offense, or maybe be competitive with some formations and roles adopted to the players on hand. If he does that it will a long year. If he can improvise for at least a year, it might be really interesting because Tech has a couple of backs I think are built for the shotgun spread.
