This sounds familiar with our own fan base ;-)

Are those "knees" from practicing cut blocks?
With the injuries mounting for that team it almost seems as if they're looking at this game like a post season bowl game. It looks like they are just looking to get out of our game with as few injuries as possible, and winning the actual game isn't a big priority for them.
lol Nate, Benson, Green, and Searcy are all fast enough to expose a player lacking speed. Plus we have QB's fast enough to do the same. I wish people would do some research before writing something up.Can't wait for Nate to get the pitch:

"The Vols have a serviceable replacement for Kirkland in backup middle linebacker Colton Jumper. But Jumper, a former walk-on, has yet to show the same sort of speed, athleticism and playmaking abilities as Kirkland.
Georgia Tech’s offense isn’t as likely to expose Jumper as much as SEC opponents down the line would. SEC teams have the sort of speed that, when spreading the field, exploited Tennessee’s linebacking corps last season."

When playing us, The one position you can least afford to suck at is middle linebacker. Also a slower MLB should help Kenny get on him which opens up those long runs.

Regardless of the defensive scheme, it's really hard to hide a MLB against us.Perhaps. Other teams have used stud back 7 players in that role that weren't MLB, though. Cash at Duke comes to mind. But, yeah, playing someone far enough off the LOS to avoid a pulling lineman and able to read the direction of the play and crash downhill has been a very successful way to defend us. Or at least contain us enough that a sprinkling of DL getting loose, fumbles, etc. can turn the tide.

Help me recall S&C going into 2014. I seem to recall going into 2014 with S&C coach who was more into a balance of strength and stretching of body condition not just weights and how strong. Don't know IIRC correctly but in my mind a balance would be better. With all the reps and strengthening programs are we seeing the effects of surpassing a person's body to support the extra weight and forces that are now achieved. These guys now are unbelievably big and strong. The number of ACL injuries is really astounding.
i wouldn't say he is enjoying life, as much as I'd say he is winning life! I guess that 2016 Life Champion ring is paying dividends already.Google "Tennessee WR Josh Smith"
He's enjoying life, to say the least.
