Bucky Shamburger was a halfback.

In his career at Tech, Bucky played halfback, quarterback, slot (flanker), and tailback (Peach Bowl replacing ELI).

GT beat the hell out of Notre Dame in 1976 and then Notre Dame beat the hell out of Alabama the next week. Joe Montana said that the GT fans threw fish at the ND team as they got off the bus and that was why ND ran up the score in 1977(69-14).
