Fwiw watching the Chiefs Rams game and McVay just went against the card in the 1st qtr. Up 12 and he kicked the extra point when the card says go for 2. I agree with his call.

I wish there was a card that included time remaining.

I also was surprised by the 3rd down pass call prior to our fg. I wonder if maybe WW kicks better from the left hash and a pass would either result in a td or keep ball on the left hash.

CPJ addressed that in his press conference. He felt Wells could make the kick from where the ball was and he wanted a shot at a touchdown. I thought at the time he would run it to get a little closer and toward the middle of the field. I guess he was not ready to give in to 3 points and maybe CPJ thought UVA might be thinking like you and me. He said the receiver would have been open for the TD had not for him being grabbed as he broke open..
