If you have season tickets, the relocation process is ongoing. During this process you can purchase season parking. Lot W21 is available. To my knowledge this is the only parking available on the list that is a tailgating spot. This is just to inform anyone who may normally pass over the relocation process and still want to buy season parking.

Outside of Peters, W21 is the best lot to car tailgate at. Congrats to anyone who snags a spot there.

I bike to games so I usually tailgate on Tech Lawn or 5th Street Bridge but I can't wait for Prez Cabrera to announce the Peters Parking Deck -> Peters Park conversion. It's going to take tailgating to a new level assuming GTAA leaves it democratized and doesn't ship it off to the corporate Tailgate Guys/RevelXP crew.

When/if they move Peters to an actual green space. I hope it's not to a RevelXP group. That would ruin that spot. The prices are absurd for what is provided. We recently purchased a F-150 Lightning and we cannot wait to tailgate with it at W21

Hate to be a cynic but GTAA has a track record of making short term decisions over long term gains so it wouldn't surprise me if they take a little extra money from RevelXP and stick them there at the expense of everyone else's experience.

What they should do, especially because that area of campus isn't particularly car friendly on gamedays, is advertise tent setup at 8pm the night before like Ole Miss does it. Really drive home that the shadow of the north endzone is a high demand spot. It worked well for the block parties this year - North Ave was the most bumping place in the city the evening of the UGA game w/ the Luda set.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I was able to secure a spot in w21. It's been a few years since I had parking over there - I'm super excited!

No problem! I assumed a lot of people would skip over it thinking it was just seat relocation. When I saw over 100 spots left at W21 I figured I should share. My hopes are that now that I have W21 season parking I have first refusal of them moving forward.

You are assumed to keep w21 until you give it up. I've had it for years because of that

Does anybody know what the height limitations are for Upper Peters parking? On Google street view it shows a 6' limitation at the entrance, but I know I have seen Yukons, Expeditions, and trucks in there before all of which are over 72" tall.

I may be wrong in tempering this from when I parked there as a student, but it’s pretty low even to get to the uncovered upper decks. I’ll check next time I’m around there and send a picture.

I know that the label on the entrance says 6'. I know it gets shorter as you go from the entrance towards the stadium. I just don't know if I could get a 6'6" vehicle into the Northern most part of the deck.

I’ll scope it out. I know they also did some work to the deck and added and added an entrance a few months back

I know last year we parked for fan day and I'd say 6ft maybe 6'3 would fit. Not sure of any adjustments made since then. Worth trying on fanday if you go

Here’s another parking question. Has anyone gotten a parking spot for the game at Mercedes Benz? I was looking at the MB site today under the “Parking “ section and our game wasn’t even listed. I checked a couple of other websites and couldn’t find anything other than with a couple of ticket resellers.

I don't remember how that worked for the UNC game. That was the only other game in MBS that was an actual home game instead of a neutral site game controlled by someone other than GT. Maybe somebody remembers and can chime in on how parking worked for that game.

It wasn't released until like a month before the game. Season ticket holders get first crack at them. All sold through the MBS app/website. Can find parking passes on secondary later but prices are insane for anything close by. From $75-300.

I think I saw 6'6" or 6'8" on the north side and the east side today.
Klaue is 8' plus. That's where I parked to for Fan Day. Didn't want to chance it at Peter's, because I remembered question in this thread.

For those that have parked for Tech games that are at Mercedes-Benz, what suggestions do you have on the best spots? Want to book in advance of the GT/ND game.
