If the people selecting bowl games have a pulse, we should be a hot commodity.

How much in terms of lost revenue / interest did F$U do in the Orange Bowl?

I think it’s fair to compare Miami to F$U. Does anyone really think Miami will show up?

I’m still holding out hope for a non-toilet bowl.

Looie took the Sun. So we got da U, Cuse, dook potentially ahead of us to fill Mayo, Pop Tart & Holiday. Then we got teams below us that should not jump us- unc, BC, vt, Pitt, nc st, Cal.

I think da U's to Pop Tart, Holiday will take Francine that leaves us & dook for Mayo. Don't like the odds there which would put us in B'ham. People have mentioned Music City which would be fantastic, but not sure how that's even an option.

If we drop lower than B'Ham, well we got him to blame.

Everyone keeps talking about the B’Ham bowl and that would actually be the lowest tiered bowl for the ACC - we aren’t a bottom tier team. Pinstripe would pick before B’Ham.

Best bet we have for a non Pinstripe bowl is Mayo bowl.

Outside of BC and maybe Cuse, few people would think Pinstripe baseball stadium against a P whatever or 6-6 P4 opponent is a better option. Location sucks, stadium sucks, weather will suck, opponent will suck, etc. Maybe if you live up there & that's your only chance of seeing GT live, but that one & Fenway need to be replaced with something else or just given to Sun, American, Mac, etc

I agree with everything you’re saying; both Fenway and Pinstripe would suck. However, facts are facts and the fact is that the Pinstripe is a Tier 2 bowl and Fenway and B’Ham are Tier 3. Meaning both of those tier 3 bowls will get the teams the others haven’t selected. I think Tech is off the board by then.

Miami to Pop Tarts
Duke to Gator
Syracuse to Holiday
Louisville to Sun
VT to Charlotte
NCSU to Annapolis
Pitt to Fenway
GT to Birmingham
UNC to Gasparilla unless they trade for something else

This does seem most likely to me as well based on what I’ve seen. VT to Charlotte at 6-6 instead of us would be our most legitimate complaint

Forgot about Gator. We opened up a mid-tier bowl when SMU didn't get screwed

I think maybe be get the Gator.

I think many of y’all are selling us short.

Look at our TV ratings, we are hot. Miami has similar ratings but will be a dejected, crestfallen, sad sack of poo.

Gator Bowl is coming.

Not saying this means anything but a few days ago the official social media of the Gator Bowl posted a graphic with all the ACC teams and all the SEC teams in the mix. GT was not one of the ACC teams depicted. Of course they could change course if they wanted to.

I’d love to go see Tech in the Bronx or at Fenway.

Everything I've read is Duke and Syracuse are getting the Gator and Holiday. It might be Cuse to Gator and Duke to Holiday though.

I'm not really thrilled about the idea of sitting in a cold BASEBALL stadium watching any football game. However, if we go to one of those bowls and I can make it happen then at least my daughter and I will be there and hopefully my wife and son, too. But my daughter goes to GT and I am an alum so we get top priority on the discretionary travel funds :gt:. The trips themselves would be fun, though. And if I had to pick one of the two it would be Pinstripe because I have family in the NYC area we would have fun visiting.

But who do you want us to play?

Wish we could have another game with Southern Cal. That Sun Bowl a few years back was a hoot!

But there are some potentially interesting opponents out there. Who do you like?

Man the one game I’d travel to see this year would be Tech vs. Bama. I think we would absolutely smack that backyard Bs offense that banks on out muscling teams.

They wouldn’t DARE accept a bid to play us after what we did to UGA. Losing to us by 17 would tarnish the SEC narrative the heads are desperately trying to hold onto.
Haha. They actually won their game against ugag
