I always thought Gary Wilkins was better than Ken Whisenhunt but they were both quality Tight Ends.

In all honesty I picked ones that I'm most familiar with. So if a player played before the mid 1970's or played during the dark times ( Early eighties; 1987-1988; 1994); basically periods where it is hard to find games on youtube.

That's why I don't know too much about him. In all honesty I did not know Whisenhunt played at Tech until my dad told me.

you didn't read the first post in this thread did you? How does JH, ELI, CJ et al get nominated for best overlooked GT FB players??? You have nominated pretty much our modern era all star team.

I'm a little more modern era, but I'd add PJ Daniels. Jonathan Smith was another one who was reliable for his first 3 years and had an outstanding Senior year.

Mario Butler was solid his whole time at Tech.
