Sad news.....the Wreck will not be making the trip to the place of it's birth . Ford Field has refused to allow it to be on the field. The GTAA will not fund the transport without that aspect.:muted:
Another reason why the Ford family is a joke!
But they’ll continuously let a **** product take the field 8 times a year.....

This came from the Alumni association, If they and GTAA can't make it happen, I won't make any difference.
You never know till you try. A personal appeal from a local Detroit person might have SOME influence. Hell, write a letter to the newspaper, or contact the local TV stations about it. Shame them, if nothing else. LOL I would love to know their reasoning (EXCUSES) for it.

@Animal02 and @RyanS12 Does the Ford family still have any ownership interest in the Lions? After all the bowl is owned by the Lions! Seems like a win/win if they allow the Reck onto the field!
This is going to be incredibly weird, but until this month on this board, I have *never* seen the Wreck referred to as the Reck. Nothing in the school while I was there spelled it that way apart from the Reck Club. GT doesn't even hold a trademark on "Ramblin' Reck", only the W variety. I feel like I am living in a berenstein/berenstain bears parallel world right now. https://www.seventeen.com/celebrity/news/a32934/the-berenstein-berenstain-bears-conspiracy-theory/

Honestly, would everyone rather be in NYC freezing in a baseball stadium or Detroit in a dome? I get the date is horrible but you couldn’t pay me to sit in the Bronx and watch a game from left field in 30 degree weather! Move this bowl to the 27-29th and it’s a much more desirable game!

The Dome was the saving grace for us.
I wasn't going to expose my Dad to those elements that the NYC game would pose.
He might ***** a little about it being cold, but for the most part, he is just glad to be living life after having health complications the past 19 mos.
I was definitely not complaining, just stating a fact :) that it will be nice to sit inside rather than out .

Oh I know you weren’t. I was saying in general. I think games like Pinstripe and the one in Chicago that’s coming up in a year or two are horrible!

Thanks, Ryan. I don't know why I can't see facebook links, it that is indeed what that was. I see twitter links just fine.
ANYWAY, where are your (and others') seats at the game? I am in section 106, row 9. That's smack on the 50 yard line. Can't beat that.
I just my tickets today....Section 106 row 16. Guess that means tickets are a tad bit "slow"
