Physically, Darren Waller is as talented as any player to come through GT. Dude just needs to dedicate himself to his craft and profession and get rid of all the extraneous stuff. He could have played a multitude of positions and excelled...OLB, WR (he did), TE.

Can you imgine Waller as a TE in our new system? 6'6, 240-250lbs, running a 4.4 40?!

He was pretty great in our old system too. He's a freak athlete. I think it's proof that the current WR's on our team can make the transition to TE.

I will forever say Demaryius Thomas could have been one of the greatest TE's.

Anyone remember Travares Tillman? Part of the line of All ACC safeties we use to produce. Never knew that he was at UGA, and just got promoted to DBs coach at Colorado under their new HC Mel Tucker.

Colorado: Georgia defensive quality control assistant Travares Tillman will join Colorado as defensive backs coach, according to BuffZone.

Prior to his arrival at UGA, Tillman played 7 seasons in the NFL as a defensive back. He was drafted out of Georgia Tech in the 2nd round (58th overall) by the Buffalo Bills in 2000.
He was a member of the Carolina Panthers from 2003-2005. While there, Tillman was part of the 2003 NFC Championship team and Super Bowl Runner-up.
In 2005, he signed as an unrestricted free-agent with the Miami Dolphins. He was coached by then Dolphins defensive backs coach Kirby Smart in 2006. Travares is tied for the 3rd longest interception streak in Dolphins history. Travares retired from the Miami Dolphins in 2008 due to injury after his 2nd knee surgery.

While playing at Georgia Tech, Tillman was a 4 year letterwinner. He started 3 years at safety and cornerback earning all-conference honors twice as a defensive back. He was also named to the ACC All- Academic team and elected permanent team captain for his senior year. Tillman finished his career with seven interceptions and 238 tackles to rank 4th in Tech history as a defensive back.

Travares returned to Georgia Tech earning his bachelor’s degree in Management in 2010. He and his wife Kiki reside in the Athens area with their 3 children Atticus, Harper and Saint.

Sounds like a candidate for CGC to bring home one day should we ever need a DB coach.

Tillman was one of those guys who always seemed to be in the right place. His football iq was off the charts

Oh man, and DeShaun Watson is just starting to grow into and NFL QB as well.

Goes from a triple option QB in college, to an option QB in NFL (Tebow), to one of the all time greats in Manning, to a QB wasteland that was the Denver QB situation post Manning, to one of the most promising QBs in the NFL...then gets hurt. Ugh...

You’re joking, but...
Pro Football Focus is owned by Chris Collinsworth. It started in London. It’s a bunch of ex scouts and other people who do have a set of criteria, but they watch film and grade out players.
It’s mainly their opinion, and the grading for linemen might be harsher than the grading for receivers.
It could probably use a curve.
