This reminds me of a question I have been thinking about. Which of our portal intakes are enrolling for this next semester and will be able to participate in Spring drills?

Unless we throw more money at him I believe he will be enjoying the barren scrublands of NW Texas. It would take a lot to convince me to spend a year in Lubbock. So I hope he got a full bag

Plus, unless it’s changed, players in post season games can enter up to five days after their (last) bowl game.

So we have 16 portal takes plus 23 new recruits, so far. 39 new faces? If I counted correctly. I assume that most of the portal guys will at least make the two deep, as well as some of the incoming freshmen. Quite a turn over. Brave new world.

Colorado has 56 total commits. At 39, we are kind of average

Yeah, how does everyone feel about this? They’ll have a completely new roster. No Sanders boys, no Travis Hunter, losing a ton of pieces, but reloading with some talented guys I’m sure. Their intake is currently ranked 25th overall on 247 (we’re 21st). Will Deion be there? I don’t see him getting an NFL offer. If his boys aren’t there, will he be as invested? If he does bail, that roster will flip back to Colorado status quo quicker than you say fifth down.

I wish we’d open with a cupcake for a change. Colorado was one when we scheduled this.

Not expecting a win. It is at Boulder at altitude and I’m guessing Deion will still be there. This is not a game we typically win. I’d say a 40% chance of winning at best.
