That was his HS rating. He is a 4* Transfer.

Looks like he grew a couple of inches since HS and added about 30 pounds.

This screams as a guy that can come in to replace outgoing senior Adbul Janneh Jr. who was a fantastic run blocking WR and maybe Spivey can do a little more in the catching game too... I am not too worried about WR and depth. I think the team will target both a large WR like this and a slot guy and with the youth/depth we already have but still a very positive group overall. I like Cannon to start to make more impact next year too. He show good things in limited time this season.

I don't think we appreciated how good Janneh was at run blocking. Go look at the tapes. He could really seal off the edge. WRs like him are invaluable to a team. That's how you make an impact without catching the ball.

That rating is what he was out of high school in 2020. He started out at Liberty, performed and transferred to LSU, now he’s transferring elsewhere.

An aside but I understand more for these guys who started out low-rated and choose to enter the transfer portal. Guys like Daniels or Singleton didn’t really get recruited by an LSU or UGA out of high school. We never know if that’s their dream school but they never got the chance. As we move up in recruiting and beat a UGA or an Ohio St for our targets in the first place, hopefully portals out will become less common.

They aren't but in reality there are only about 10 teams we would be competing against on that list.

I'm just throwing out guys that are reporting we are contacting them or ones we have visiting. The other portal threads have devolved into other things at this point.
